I have blogged about this process here as I was trying out something new after seeing an article about the artist Mark Bradford. I took several gelatin prints in yellow and oranges and used gloss gel to adhere them in my journal. My top most layer used a stencil with rays. I sliced through the layers peeling up parts of the rays. I also glued some back onto the sun. I wasn't able to distinguish the rays as much as I would like so I used Gelatos to add color and shimmer. I also added some pencil shading. My sentiment (song lyrics from a hymn I love) was written on a phone book page and tore it to glue onto my page.

It sounds like a wonderful process. I love all the texture! That is a beautiful scripture. As a teen, we used to sing a song with those lyrics and I always loved it.
