And the GrayScale CAS challenge this week was a good excuse. I cut assorted square and rectangle frames by stacking two graduated dies, then arranged on a piece of gray card stock until I was happy and glued down (very fiddly!). Then ran the whole thing through my Big Shot in the embossing folder. Love how this folder makes it look like a real quilt! Then I mounted to a white card with foam tape, stamped sentiment on white scrap and layered on black scrap then mounted to card front with more foam tape.

Love how you used the frames and I love gray. A quilt look, for sure. Lots of wonderful texture.

I knew without looking which quilt inspired this card. Your card is fabulous! Thanks for doing the work of compiling all those beautiful quilts. I have it bookmarked because I had so many ideas tumbling in my head but not enough time!

Just excellent, Colleen and what a wonderful board you brought us. So so so much inspiration. I think your design works well with the grayscale and it looks like a quilt with the embossing.
