Today Angie has challenged us to add sunshine to our cards. Happily! I chose to combine with Lee's white flowers VSN Mini challenge. Still catching up on the challenges I missed while I was on vacation. I decided I wanted to use my big Power Poppy Dahlia as a background for this birthday girl. Desmond has a birthday party this weekend for a girl in his class and I thought this digi would be fun for a seven year old girl. I enjoyed making this big Dahlia background for Lee's challenge. You know I'm a compulsive colorer so it was good to convince me not to color. Then I masked the flower and stenciled the sun's rays. I really like this cheerful card.

What a creative card. I love how you used the dahlia and filled the card with sunshine. What a sweet digi for the birthday girl's card.
