I began by trimming 12â x 12â papers from my stash down to be slightly smaller than the front of the cards and gift bagsand when the left overs are not quite big enough to make matching mats for all the cards, it's time to get creative and use strips.
Then it was time to get stuck into a big Alphabet die-cutting session using Simon Says Stamp Ornate Alphabet cut from Distress Watercolor card. Happy for the cards, with some of the letters popped up on Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive and Easter for the gift bags, with some of the letters coloured with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool and again popped up to create dimension.
I fixed Tim Holtz/Sizzix Adhesive Sheets to Idea-ology Classic Kraftstock and Kraft Card, die-cut the bunnies using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Bunny Hop Thinlits and fixed to bunnies die-cut from white card to make them a bit sturdier.
I fixed the bunnies in place with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Mini Foam Adhesive to create dimension, added a bow tie to some of the bunnies, die-cut using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Crazy Things Thinlits and added self adhesive pearls and gems to the others.
I die-cut the flowers from Distress Watercolor card using Tim Holtz/Sizzix Small Tattered Florals Thinlits, coloured the centres with a Fossilized Amber Distress Marker, added black dots with a Sakura Black Glaze Pen and Glossy Accents.
I inked one of the circle stamps from Simon Says Stamp Lots of Dots with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink and stamped over the Ornate Alphabet letters. I inked the sentiments from Simon Says Stamp Some Bunny with Black Soot Distress Archival, stamped on to Distress Watercolor card, trimmed, edged with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink and fixed in place with Distress Collage Medium Matte.
