The USEIT2020 part of this card is pretty much all of it! The card is for an elderly friend in a nursing home; she has macular degeneration and her vision is very poor at this point so I wanted a very tactile card, and it will be hand delivered so I didn't have to worry about it being crushed in the mail.
The pansies were from a Dollar Tree flower stem I took apart and added to my card supplies years ago. I replaced the plastic bit that was holding them together with a black brad. I made the vase from the front of a failed card--I'd run it through an embossing folder but the cardstock had been a little thin and the texture had scraped off the surface in some spots and punched right through in others. So it was sitting in a scrap box waiting for the right use. I used a stencil (also quite old) to trace a tag shape onto it, then cut it out, flipped it over, cut it short, and turned it into a vase. I layered a scrap of yellow pattern paper onto a white card, then added the "vase" with foam tape. I attached the pansies above with the brads, then stamped the sentiment on a small tag and tucked it under the pansies.
This was a true "stash" card and I love how it turned out! TFL!
