Lovely sympathy card with the deep embossing in the bg for the cross and butterfly, Lynn. Some people believe when a butterfly comes near them that it is a departed dear one coming by.

The lacy white embossing is beautiful and such a pretty addition to the Celtic looking die cut cross. Butterflies on Sympathy cards always make me think of the soul flying heavenward.

I love that emboss folder. I got it a few months ago and have yet to use it. I really need to bring it out. It looks like a wonderful sympathy card with it too. Thank you so much for playing along.

I'm more used to seeing "condolences" on French cards, so initially the spelling looked wrong! I like the pairing of the butterfly and the cross, both symbols of new life.
