Today's teapot recipient is Kristine, who has faced a lot of challenges this year and is in need of cheerful mail. She and our very own Jean Bean the Dancing Queen became friends years ago when they first met in a college music theory class. So with this tidbit of information tucked away, I knew I wanted to incorporate some music in my card a well as birds which she loves. I ran a piece of white cardstock though the Sheet Music EF then inked my brayer with a Birthstone rainbow pad and lightly rolled over the dry embossing to make the notes pop and fussy cut around some of the notes. The SU sentiment fit perfectly between some of the fussy cut areas. Stamped the umbrella on blue in blue & black then fussy cut that, too. Finished with my crazy bird colored with Arteza Markers and tucked the umbrella under her wing.

You have combined all your elements so nicely on this card! Love the music embossing folder and the way you enhanced it with ink, the sentiment, and the way you tucked the umbrella under the bird's wing. Very clever. Great card for this challenge. Thanks for playing.

I guessed this was you instantly, Linda. If I ever cave and buy the smaller crazy birds it will be entirely down to you and the way you use them with umbrellas. So far I keep telling myself that the Katzelkraft piafs will do if I ever have the time to be inspired by your creations.
