Greetings from Aruba! This week Joyce challenged us to use grayscale on our cards, so I made this before I left. Would you believe I left the house without packing my cardmaking supplies? I thought this challenge would be a fun one to use this Unity background stamp that I bought recently which goes perfectly with this super fun sentiment that Iâve had for a bit but havenât used yet. By the way, the sentiment is 20% this month. https://rubberartstamps.com/snarky/
I was brave and did some watercoloring for this card. I just stamped the background with black DOX ink on hot press watercolor paper and use a wet brush to drag the black out and paint the cars gray. Fun and simple!
âSeeâ you soon. Iâll be home on Wednesday.

Even on the beach you can post challenges....you're amazing Jen! I love the use of this bg stamp and your watercoloring makes it even more interesting and unique.

Aruba? And you didn't take Denise and me? What kind of friend are you anyway? Love the way you drew out the black. Great bg stamp!
