This is my blast from the past - a rotary phone with a party line! You could 'upgrad' to a wall phone & if you were really lucky you had an extra-long coiled cord so you could go somewhere a little more private!! When I was a senior in high school I could go into my bedroom & talk to my boyfriend!! Talk about a blast from the past!!!!
I used MFT stamp & die set, Call Me. This set doesn't have the numbers that also had the alphabet & our phone number was Meadowbrook 3-6133. While I was growing up they did change the lead words to numbers, ours was 633 etc. You stuck your finger in the hole & wound it around to the stopper, obviously for each number. Before the wall phone, we had a table for the phone with a seat attached! Those were the days! I hope this brings a smile to you too.
Thanks Carla for the walk down memory lane.
Thanks for stopping by.

Love it! Our phone was mounted on the wall in the kitchen. I used to stretch the cord into the utility room and shut the door. My parents didn't appreciate that at all Thanks for playing in my challenge.
