I thought of a calendar that I have from Half Price Books that shows books across the decades, but it also had vintage images from each decade too. I fussy cut these images then chose a gel print that I did on kraft paper as a clean up of dried paints (I'd been using my plate as my palette while using my smaller plate for image transfers where you want really thin coats of paint ) I thought it had a vintage feel. Once I had my image placement mapped out I used pastels to create shading of some and then glued down my images. I stamped some images from the Tim Hot grunge set...numbers in various inks and the circles using the dauber. I stamped my Diana Akely gal and then added some rays by inking the stamp with wet Gelatos. Added rays up by the disco ball too. I did some loose, illegible writing with a Micron pen. I used my ink pads directly to the edge of the paper. I took a wet brush and pulled some of the ink in. I also used the brush to wet the Gelato rays after adding more Gelato over the rays.

Tres cool, especially with the mirror ball and the Rubik's cube. The background is really beautiful, too, I like all those details that one sees when one takes time to look at it.
