Ways to Use It Challenge hosted by Carla - Blast to the Past
Today I had lunch with two of my mom's first cousins and their wives who are in town for a few days. We talked about family memories and times gone by. I shared about the family genealogy work I have done with our mutual relatives. They were very interested. Returning home and seeing the challenge for today was so timely!
I am fascinated by several time periods in history and the early 1900 is one of them. I would love to blast myself to the past and experience life & culture from that era. I don't think I would last too long; I would want to return pronto to the comfort and ease of our modern day conveniences. Oh what an adventure it would be!
For the challenge, I thought of this classic car stamp right away. I paired it with a long-retired, masculine looking DSP and embellished with an old-fashioned looking button from my stash. I was inspired not by a time I have experienced, but one I wished I could.

Total classic card with the car and your colors. Your deets are very interesting...wishing you could go back in time to experience your ancestors life style. Sounds like you had an interesting visit with your family. Terrific card, Diane. TFS

How nice to connect with people that have those memories. I saw my uncle a few months ago, 92 years old, and he told us things I'd never heard before. Body is failing, mind very sharp. Perfect choice of dp for that car image.
