 | | Ways to Use It Challenge hosted by Carla - Blast to the Past
Today I had lunch with two of my mom's first cousins and their wives who are in town for a few days. We talked about family memories and times gone by. I shared about the family genealogy work I have done with our mutual relatives. They were very interested. Returning home and seeing the challenge for today was so timely!
I am fascinated by several time periods in history and the early 1900 is one of them. I would love to blast myself to the past and experience life & culture from that era. I don't think I would last too long; I would want to return pronto to the comfort and ease of our modern day conveniences. Oh what an adventure it would be!
For the challenge, I thought of this classic car stamp right away. I paired it with a long-retired, masculine looking DSP and embellished with an old-fashioned looking button from my stash. I was inspired not by a time I have experienced, but one I wished I could.
