 | | My mom was flipping through an album she made of grandmaâs cards, trying to find one with a stamp set to show me, and I saw a card similar to this. I got most, if not all, the supplies of this set after grandma passed, so I decided to recreate her card.
The stamps, the markers, the window, the two background papers, the main adhesive, dimensionals, even the black ink I used to use came from her (Iâve since gotten a newer ink pad because hers was worn out). The white part of the wall was made with the window as well.
I borrowed tiny dies for the hearts and flowers from my mom, and she had a spare âhugsâ die that I got to use as well.
I really like how this card turned out. Mostly because it was based off something my grandmother did and partially because the way I did the wall itself reminds me of my bedroom, I can only wish the tree in front of my window was a cherry blossom so Iâd see nothing but pink outside when the tree blooms.
Supplies:
- Stampinâ Up Happy Home stamp set
- Stampinâ Up Hearth and Home framelit dies
- I think the hugs and flowers on the window are Stamps of Life
- And the hearts in the tree, I think, are LawnFawn |
