It is hard to get a good picture of this. When I saw today's Way's To Use It Challenge to celebrate Retro Day, I immediately thought of this print. I had a first layer stencil print in the teal. I think I made the second layer by stamping onto my gel plate in Stazon then brayering paint with the clock stencil and pulling the print (I really should write these things down!!) I wanted the stamped images to show up better so that's where I started with my pastels, adding more brown and then some pink and also some shading around the blocks. I then worked to bring out the clock stenciling which was quite faint. I mainly used pastels at this point. I then decided to do a faux burnt edge look and used first grey then brown and finally black. I thought it would be cool to do the same around the gals. I added some more pastels to the faces and used white paint on the eyes. Last step was gold paint on the metal cogs and hands.

Interesting print..those faces are great in the middle. I know what you mean about losing track of what you've done on your print with so many layers etc. I like how you added the bits of gold on this. Cool idea for the retro theme
