Featured Stamper hosted by Kittie honoring Shelly aka mcschidty. I so enjoyed looking through Shelly's gallery with fabulous color and interesting backgrounds. I kept looking and admiring, when this one grabbed my attention:
Shelly used an alcohol ink technique that I had seen and wanted to try. I gathered all the supplies, life happened and I forgot about it. I was so excited to see that Shelly had tried it and she even linked to Jennifer McGuire's video on her own blog. Thank you Shelly for the link & the inspiration to try it today.
Wow, it was so much fun! I used up all my Yupo paper and even grab some glossy photo paper to use before I had to stop. Now I have a ton of backgrounds in different colors and patterns. I selected this one for my card because it has bold colors and looks so cheerful. Stamped flowers and a sentiment on top, matted it on a pink card base and added a few crystals.
Thank you, Shelly for sharing your beautiful cards with us and inspiring my own today. Thank you for the challenge, Kittie.
Thank you for looking!

I love your background and bright colors, and your floral image is gorgeous!!! I made a number of these backgrounds as well, and leave it to Jennifer McGuire to come up with a fabulous idea like this!!!!! Beautiful and I so appreciate you joining in today, I was so surprised and thrilled!!!

Stunning work, Diane. The BG is so beautiful and the simplicity of the outline flower, simple matting and the perfect greeting makes for an outstanding card. Just pinned this beauty.
