I made this card for the letter B Alphabet challenge. The Bs in this card are the blue inks and copic markers I used.
Used a makeup brush to apply stormy sky and faded jeans distress inks around the top panel of the card, leaving a light space in the middle for the sentiment.
Using my MISTI, stamped all the flowers on a single card panel in amalgam ink which is super light, even after stamping it 3 times. I left the flower stamps in place in the MISTI so I could use them later. Colored the flowers and leaves with copic markers the best I could because the ink was almost too light to see. When done coloring everything, I placed the card panel back into the MISTI and stamped over the colored images with versamark ink and heat embossed using silver embossing powder. I was quite surprised how much detail this provided to the images.
Stamped the sentiment in versamark ink and heat embossed in silver embossing powder. Placed fun foam behind the image panel and glued to the card base.
I am trying to catch up with the alphabet challenges by crafting for 10-15 minutes a day. Little by little, a card does get made this way. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Wonderful advice for making a card, Karen! This is so elegant looking. Your sponging is gorgeously done. Love the floral stamping and and just one flower raised up for dimension. Beautiful!

Gorgeous card Karen! I love how you left the flower stamp in the Misti, then stamped after you colored with VersaMark and embossed it in silver! Great idea! Such a lovely creation!

This is so pretty and soft, Karen. I love your blue roses and your soft sponging. Gorgeous! I'm glad you are stamping, you are right, 10-15 minutes a day and you'll get there.
