Today's F4A: A childhood Memory
Color: Terracotta Tile, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green
I water colored my image using blender pens and ink pads. I added white to the pom poms and fur around the hats and mittens, then painted on wink of stella. Fussy cut the hill and around the childrens' hats, then popped up over a forest of trees and one sparkly snowflake.
One of my fondest memories was sledding. We kids loved it when our mom would join us. We had lots of laughs and good times, especially when the sled took off and Mom got left behind sitting in the snow! Thanks for the fun challenge, Francie Robin & Susie, and thanks for stopping by today! ~Roberta

Just adorable. Excellent use of this weeks colors and I love your memory. Smiling at the thought of your mom getting left behind. Great fussy cutting too. I just love this.

Your post about your mom is so funny. What great memories! The stamp with the kids sledding is a favorite of mine. I saw someone use it a yr. or two ago and had to have it to make my grands a card. You made such pretty, snowy scene and the trees look great.

I'm really enjoying reading about everyone's good childhood memories. You have reminded me of one of mine. We would go to a big hill not so far away and slide down what felt like a long time. We didn't have our mom land off in the snow though - that really added fun!! :>)

Oooh that sounds like fun Roberta, and it sounds like your mom was a good sport. You sure created a fun winter scene to capture this wonderful childhood memory.

Darling scene and memory, Roberta. Being a California girl, we didn't have snow, but this made me think of sliding down golden hillsides on cardboard. Was great fun...until I hit a rock! I cannot believe I have never tried your coloring technique. I'm inspired!
