When I was a little girl I loved to dance. Our elementary school had a big dance festival every year where we danced for our parents. Each grade had their own dance section, and I got to fill in for absent students in some of the other grades because I knew the dances. It was in the late 50's and I had on a big, voluminous skirt with lots of crinoline. One of my favorite days ever!

What a fabulous story! I love your card as well, and I remember those days. Do I ever remember all the crinolines under the skirts! Fortunately, our skirts were quite long.....

What a cute little doll or dancing girl!! The colors are pretty!! That's neat that you would dance a lot. I always joke a lot that I'm not very good with my dance steps.

Oh this is so perfect! I love the flower for a skirt. I'm gonna have to remember that!
That is such a fun memory (I never learned to dance, my mom tried ballet lessons, tap lessons and who knows what else!) Maybe I needed a friend like you! On second thought, that probably would not have helped, BUT, I would have cheered YOU on!
Such a fun, beautiful card!

Wow, how fun for you to be in an outfit as this one! I love those adorable little hearts in her top and the brooch attached to her flower skirt. Gorgeous card, Nancy~

What a darling skirt you made and I see it really stood out nicely with the crinolines. I love her pretty belt. You must have been a dancing queen. This is really a sweet memory.
