Hi friends,
Another major childhood memory is tea. My mother put sweet tea in my baby bottle, that is when it started!! When I was a little girl my mom used to dress me up in frilly dresses (much to my dislike since I was a natural born tomboy cowgirl!). Anyway, she would take me down the street to a neighbor's house for "tea". The ladies would drink their tea (as would I) then I would go play with the neighbor's button collection tin.
I drank so much tea I think my veins flow with it!!
I still love tea mostly iced tea no matter the weather but I love hot tea too.
My mom had a wonderful collection of tea pot sets (with creamer and sugar bowl) and beautiful and unique China tea cups. I am thankful that I got several of them when she passed because I always think of her. You can find the tutorial for this box in the SCS tutorials HERE
Thanks for looking!

Robin, wonderful memory of your mom! All my life sweet tea was served at lunch and dinner! I still drink unsweetened tea. My aunt always drink coffee in a nice cup, not mugs like now.
Your tea box is gorgeous!

Robin, what wonderful memories you have of your mom and tea time. Your tea bag dispenser is spectacular. It looks like it took a lot of effort to make it, but it is great. The added jewels are wonderful. I have been wondering what you would create with the new release and I am not disappointed, of course. Love the box.

What a great memory and super funny that she put tea in your bottle. I love your tea box and great use of this terrific set from HFC. I have my set and really need to use it to make a Mother's day card.

This is such a beautiful box, Robin. And, another sweet story from your childhood. I love reading them. I love tea, also. Guess I wouldn't be a southerner if I didn't love sweet tea. So glad you got some of your Mom's button collection.
