F4A522 - Inspired by a childhood memory
My dad was a poet and pastor, and typed all of his writings on an old Underwood typewriter. I am now a collector of old typewriters so I loved this set the minute I saw it! I love the sentiments too. Really encouraging and kind!
Thank you for looking!

Love this. I love typewriters too and wish I’d collected them when I was younger. TFS. Happy day

An unusual collection to be sure. That typewriter sure is a relic..........I had to part with my Dad's as I couldn't find ribbons or repair folks. How sad.

What a wonderful typewriter stamp. I sometimes wish I had kept one of my old ones, but I know I would find it almost impossible to use after getting used to a keyboard - and even twenty years ago it was getting hard to find ribbons! Great saying, too. It brought back memories of the verse my primary school teacher (we were in a small 3-teacher school) wrote in my autograph book. Thank you for that.

I love old typewriters. My grandfather was a lawyer and justice of the peace and my mother would type up various types of tickets (traffic, whatever) for him. She'd work later at night after we were all in bed and I could hear the typewriter clacking away. Your story and card are delightful.

My mom used to type on one of those old typewriters, too. What a fun memory you have of your amazing dad. I'll bet your typewriter collection is awesome!
