My heart really goes out to RaiLynn. Returning to the hospital again and again has to be beyond difficult. And at 15? Just the opposite of how one's teenage years should have to be spent. I hope she will be able to imagine herself free as a butterfly, if only in her mind right now and that her cocoon time goes fast. This BG is a ghost print from a Brusho BG I made and used here: IC700 Dig It. The first one was on watercolor paper and this one is on card stock. I managed to line up the shadow stamp over the stamping with Versamark and clear emboss it for a more realistic window effect. The butterflies are from my 1st Cuttlebug, a thick die set with matching embossing folders. I cut them from a glossy rainbow paper I made with Alcohol inks. Popped the window up on craft foam, so the butterflies hover a bit more. One has sequins on its wings, imagine.

Oh, I know it would cheer me up to think about being outside that window with sunshine and butterflies. RaiLynn is sure to love just sitting and looking at this card.

I always love getting extra value from my Brushos. This is beautiful, full of light and sunshine and happiness. The window effect is super. So are your butterflies and DIY rainbow paper.

LOVE this, Lori! I learned over the years that a grouping of butterflies is called a Kaleidoscope which is certainly apropos of those rainbow hued butterflies here. Beautiful imagery with imagining oneself flying free.
