I made the background panel by stamping various images from the Simply Said stamp set in the three colors. I then sponged those colors over the stamping in the same area. I made this panel for another project but didn't use it. I thought it would be perfect for the letter X. I die cut XOXO from the Circle Card Thinlets set and sponged that using Flirty Flamingo on the hearts. See the x's?
To finish the card, I attached the panel to a white card base. I stamped the sentiment on the Highland Heather card stock, heat embossed it, and added it to the card. I then added the heart shaped gems.
Thanks for looking!

I have always loved that set. Love your colors and it is great to see this old set pulled out and used, Catherine. Love your creativity with the sponging in their corresponding images. And yes, I can see the "x"'s!

Oh, what a lovely, heartfelt anniversary card this is Catherine. I love how you have taken a slightly older stamp set and made it new and modern with this fun design. Yep, I see those wonderful x's too. ~Karen.
