While I was on my little vacation, I did a lot of Bible Art Journaling. I did this one in the last week.
I got this great Bible for Christmas with much larger pages (I love it). I am going to do every page in Psalms first.
Psalms 10 is so visual and really inspired me. Where it talks about evil being a lion hiding in the thicket ready to drag off a victim, I was struck by how the evil in ourselves may do the same thing. Our love of material things and money is pretty sneaky that way.
I drew the lion, watercolored around the page, then stamped and stenciled on some more details.

Wow, wow, wow! Nancy, your drawing skills are remarkable! I LOVE how you depicted the evil lion! He is dressed so handsomely and the dollar sign is perfect on his jacket. Spectacular journaling!

Not sure I missed this Nancy, but I love every inch of it! Your hand drawn lion image is perfect with the $$ as well as your handwriting! As others have mentioned, this is a fabulous keepsake for your family as well- hugs, sweet friend and tfs!
