Ways to Use It Challenge hosted by Sabrina - Button It Up
Teapotters Challenge for Dorothy hosted by Anita. Dorothy and her husband are dealing with health issues and could use some encouragement.
The card challenge was to use three things. I had brain fuzz last week and could not figure this out, so I set it aside for a bit, and could not get back to it. I have been extra busy caring my husband who has been in increased pain, so I am a week behind. However, I could not pass up sending a card to a fellow Arizona dweller. Today I finished my card, but I misread the limited supplies part. Call the Challenge Police! On my card: three stamps to make the floral display, three colors (yellow, blue, green), three word sentiment, three ways to embellish (edge punch, stitched die, buttons). I put a strip of white under the punched edge, and allowed a little of the inside blue to show through underneath. The buttons were planned for the top corners, but then I smudged the bottom left corner, so I buttoned it up over the spot and put the buttons both on the left side.
Although I misunderstood the instructions, I had fun making my card and Anita said that was the important part. It will soon be on its way to Dorothy. TFL

Your flowers are beautiful, love that soft blue. And while I hardly ever think to do it myself, I love the look of a sentiment stamped in a matching colour. The eyelet border and buttons work so well together.
I always have trouble interpreting this type of challenge too ;-).
