Did a lot of masking, especially the mountain range, for this card for my friend Verne's birthday.
All the images were stamped on the Kraft CS, masking as needed to create the mountain range with repeat stamping. I left the masks in place on the mountain range & created the sky, using the blending tool & distress inks.
I masked the pickup, & created the "ground" with the ink blending tool & distress inks. Removed all the masks, and colored the pickup, mountains, trees, flowers, & here & there on the ground with colored pencils.
Stamped the sentiment on a scrap of cream colored CS, trimmed the ends & layered it on a bit of the brown CS. Popped it up on the image (I really hated to cover any of it up!) with dimensionals.
TFL!

What great work creating this beautiful countryside scene on kraft. I like the suggestion of snow on the mountains. DH is hoping for that this summer, but I tell him he can't count on it in June...I think we were just lucky last year.

What a fabulous masculine card this is Liz. I adore the scene you created for this wonderful vintage truck. I have always wanted a yellow pickup just like this one! I love how you add snow to your mountains too- that is a great detail. ~Karen.
