Here I go again - I had this all typed up & forgot to hit submit!
Our FS this week is Brent & may I say it's about time!! I really like your interesting gallery, although most of the time I have no clue what you are talking about in your description.
Anyway, I chose this card. It made me think of a visit to see my friend in Surprise, AZ & the hot air balloons we saw. So thanks for the memory. My changes are:
- vertical orientation
- used an ef for clouds
- brushed on color
- used 2 balloons
- no sentiment (yet)
- A2 instead of 5x7
I stamped the mountains, masked & stamped off, stamped again. Using a make-up brush I added color
for the sky, then placed the ef where I wanted & embossed. Next I stamped & cut out the balloons, for one I made a basket. Added my panel to a A2 size Crumb Cake base.
CONGRATULATION Brent! Enjoy your time in the spotlight & the cards made in your honor.
Thanks for stopping by.

Your snowy mountains look so dramatic against the blue sky, Karen. Pretty balloons floating by. When we lived in Temecula, CA, we would see hot air balloons every weekend. Loved the peacefulness of seeing them float by~
