I did use a stencil, although not one from SG. This isn't a card to send, more of an art piece. I had bought this handmade sachet years and years ago at my favorite art store, now closed. It is signed and it still smells good, probably about 20 years old. I don't put out much for Valentine's any longer so it was consigned to my Valentine junk box. After adding the stenciling and Inca Gold-ing, I glued it on and added some bits and bobs: punched hearts from old wallpaper (Etsy), Dresden wings, arrow and gems and a clear pink plastic heart stamped with Stazon black. Added a little vintage button with hot glue. I had some fun with this project.

Very pretty vintage artwork, Jean. Love the way you decided to re-use this sachet. When growing up, I always had one in my dresser drawers cause I loved the smell.

Beautiful! What a wonderful way to repurpose an element. I am sad to say that I rarely put out anything except at Christmas. Your art piece is perfect for the season!

Your vintage sachet is the prettiest focal point for your lovely creation with a vintage flair. Love all the added elements and satiny sheen...both the Inca gold and the stenciled background Shimmer paste!

Lovely vintage Valentine, Jean! Amazing that it still has a scent after so long. Would even be more amazing if I could smell it (totally lost that sense years ago).
