This card is for various challenges. I'm trying to be smarter this year and combine multiple challenges whenever possible.
I originally started with the Misti Monday challenge, then saw the Colour Challenge, The Sketch challenge, the Ways to Use it Challenge and finally I try and see where I can make my cards fit the Alpha Challenge...phew.
Thank goodness I have my Misti. The stamp is from a SOA set I haven't inked up and I always find first time inking isn't as crisp even after rubbing the stamp on my arm. It went a little blotchy in one area but that's me and my pressing too hard LOL.
The BG paper was embossed. I decided I wanted a shabby chic look to it so distressed the edges and tore in a couple of places. I also forgot to add some lace on this card and too late now..oops.
The circle originally started as a square and was covering up the embossed hearts so I kept cutting until I opted for a circle. I like the fun sentiment on the stamp.
Sparkle added all over the card and the centre strip is sparkly DP. For some reason the centre heart went grey after adding my wink of stella but still looks ok.
TFL and happy week and happy day

Love your attention to detail. It's all the little things that count: tearing, sponging, die cutting, embossing, etc. All the extra steps are worth the effort. TFS!

This is such a cool card Jayne. I love all the wonderful sparkly hearts with the distressed background, then you added this wonderful modern sentiment on the front that I just adore! What a great card this is for all the challenges. ~Karen.
