Lisa is our WTUI hostess this week, and I made this for the daughter of a work colleague. It was hard to capture all the sparkle, I'll attach a close-up short in the challenge thread which you can find HERE.
I used Anita's book card tutorial, which is a pdf attachment in THIS POST.
Ayeisha's favourite colour is pink, so that dictated the book cover - I embossed the front with Tin Tiles ef and buffed with luster rub-ons. There's a birthday sentiment stuck down the spine, you can't tell from the photo, but it's gold glitter paper.
For the peacock panel, I used DOX inks and used Iridescent Ice ep on the tail, so it's super sparkly. I added bling, and filled in the wing with Sakura Stardust pens. I created some foreground with Aged Teal chunky EP, and added gold EP all round the edges, sprinkling some blue glitter in before it set.

Sparkle inside an out (love the iridescnt ribbon) Love your attention to detail with the bold "Title" glittering on the spine and even though the cover is pink it still has the texture of hand tooled leather.

Terrific fold and love the texture you used for the book. The sparkle on the binder is just perfect Sabrina. The book title is wonderful for a girl's birthday. Your co-worker's daughter is really going to love this beauty. Thank you so much for this incredible sample for the challenge.
