I needed thank you cards for holiday gifts, so I went searching on my "thank you cards" Pinterest board. I saw this card, and had to CASE it! I have an uncle who loves puns, so I figured this would be perfect to send as a thank you for the Christmas gift he & my aunt sent me.
I didn't have the same greeting stamp as the inspiration card, so I used the "Perfectly Penned" set to spell out the greeting onto a panel of Fog cardstock. I did draw light pencil lines to guide my stamping, and started from the left side so my letters would line up. I die cut the holes from the same panel. I added a piece of patterned paper from my scrap stash to a white card base, and popped my main panel over that. I had (without thinking) stamped the greeting a bit too far to the left, so the design ended up unbalanced. So I decided to add a strip of red cardstock to the right side, to balance out the design. It also echoes the red from the berries in the patterned paper. And that was it! The "hardest" part of this card was just cutting & applying all the bitty pieces of foam tape in between the holes. I'm sure my uncle & aunt will get a kick out of this!

Very pretty card! The holes look very well balanced in the final piece. And what a great job you did putting together that fun greeting from alpha stamps -- I thought it was a readymade greeting!
