I couldn't resist trying today's Center Stage challenge. I still have a lot to learn, but Dina's tutorial is superb! I stamped the dog on mixed media paper, using jet black stazon ink, then made my scene following the tutorial. I see that I forgot the shadow under the dog and need to use a larger oval mask, but I'll try to remember that next time. The sentiment was stamped on kraft using black ink. This will be perfect for someone in our family, as we like to exchange funny cards most of the time!

I found the shadow really hard to do, I kinda fudged mine. And I'm sure we can say that the size of the oval is totally dependent on the size of the spotlight ;-). Your cute dog certainly looks dazzled by the light (or is it shocked by the age?) - fun card.

Sue, this is wonderful. I love that dog, and the saying is one of my favorites. Great job, mf!
