This is one of my new favorite techniques so I was happy to make another card (or two). I decided dancing Snoopy would really look good at center stage, but he's so small that I had to cut my panel down to fit him. That's fine. I like the way he looks with the big white frame around him--like he's in a comic strip. I wanted to be able to highlight Snoopy from the spotlight, so I chose kraft for one card and cream for the other. On both, I colored him with white colored pencil and added white gel pen highlights. I like the kraft version a little better. Looking forward to seeing all the stages in the gallery today!

Oh, I think I prefer the white one - that's the one on the right, yes? But of course I think they're both wonderful, brilliant idea to use Snoopy and great sentiments. I think it would have been fine having him small on a large stage; think of all the empty space around Linus when he gives his speech in the Christmas film. Thanks for playing along today...and for origin inspiring.e with your Nutcracker hippos.
