As soon as I have my new calendar I put in Book Club dates - the last Thursday of each month. Yay! it's today and we will discuss my book - 'The Map of Us' - over dinner in the village pub.
I used my photo programme to create coloured panels of different colours and designs, and typed the titles from a selection of books we will be reading in 2020. Once cut up and the ends punched, I sponged the edges with Vintage Photo ink and secured to a scrap of card. Stamped the tags and tied to the string. Popped up with foam pads.
This will be a thank-you card for Audrey who is hosting the Book Club on her 97th birthday in February - and we will discuss her book choice 'Educated'.
Thanks for looking today

Love the stack of books, Sandie! This is my kind of card. The only one I have read from this pile was Educated and it was really good. Thanks for sharing your wonderful creativity!

Brilliant. That's a nice date to have to enter in on the calendar each month. I'll have to check your book out, it sounds interesting. I like the colours of your books, they remind me of all the old cloth-bound books from my grandmother's.

Sounds like you have a wonderful book club....and you get an evening out to dinner too. Love how you did your stack of books...and personalized it to what you have read/reading.

Fabulous idea! Love the stack of books, the twine and the little tags. I do the same thing with a new calendar. Great card for your book club friend. TFS
