Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us the combination of Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade and Bermuda Bay, with the dessert option of using a stencil. This card is also for WT775, Using White Embossing Powder, and for CYSJAN, Challenge Your Stash, where we make a card every month using only items we already have (no new purchases for the challenge). This month the CYS challenge is "Sprinkle A Little Love." My "sprinkle" is the white embossing powder.
I pulled out my Floral Fill-In patterned paper and stencils and went to work, first filling in the larger open spaces in the paper by blending on Flirty Flamingo ink, then substituting the second stencil and filling in the smaller areas with Poppy Parade ink. Decorated the blooms with a white gel pen and adhered this layer to a Bermuda Bay base card.
The tag was cut from Bermuda Bay paper and white embossed with the "Big Hugs" sentiment. I used my Scan 'n Cut to create a slightly larger white layer under the tag. Trimmed with some ribbon and twine, popped it up on foam tape, and added a few gemstones.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

This seems like a really interesting stencil concept. Great card for the color challenge and congrats on getting those other challenges in, too!
