Congratulations Angie on becoming our newest featured stamper. You know I absolutely love your beautiful gallery full of amazing works of art.
Here is the beautiful card that inspired me Rainy Day
My theme is the same as Angie's, a woman out walking in the rain. I did some water colouring as Angie did.
I created the watercolour wash background using soft sky ink. I stamped the woman image on water colour paper and coloured her with copic markers and cut her out. I had left over pieces of the dark green wrinkle free distress background that I had die cut some evergreen trees using the Majestic Mountain die - the grassy area she is standing on was made using the left over negative outer pieces - hope that makes sense. Matted the image panel with black cardstock. Using the Stamparatus I stamped on the sentiment. Stamped on the birds. The woman is popped up using pop dots. The base panel is a piece of wrinkle free distress ink I made a while ago. I ran the piece through the big shot with the Subtle embossing folder. Matted with black and sewing around the edges. Assembled the card.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight, Angie.
Hugs, Pat

I love your version of Angie's card, Pat. The bg is terrific for the image.
