So much to inspire at the Ferris Wheels & Carousels website - I had a hard time choosing just one! I finally chose this rug as my starting inspiration.
Stamped the wine labels on parchment in Gathered Twig ink - tore the edge all around and sponged on a bit of peeled paint backed with grape cardstock to help it pop then decided to color in just the bunches of grapes in the bg. I tried several ribbons to tie over the bg but nothing was quite right - then I remembered this variegated wine colored washi tape - now this I did like . . . .The wine bottles were stamped on scrap stock, colored with prismacolor pencils and fussy cut, then raised up with mounting foam.

Your torn edges with sponging add so much to your bg panel, Linda. The bottles are colored to perfection! Your washi tape looks great on the diagonal slant.

I love the torn edges on the parchment paper. Good coloring and great job with your inspiration.
