I really like vegetable and fruit images for the kitchen. I bought this card of three radish embroidery appliques at an antique mall, thinking they'd be cute on a card. They're pretty old, company name is The House of Franken, address is 1400 Broadway, New York 18, N.Y. So pre-zip codes. Full price they were 59 cents, I got them for 30 cents. I made my own plaid free hand with gray, tan, black and red markers. I searched for vegetable puns and 'you are so RAD (ish)' came up. Do young folks still say 'rad'??? I found the vintage seam binding at Goodwill. Pretty old package, never opened. This was lots of fun.

I LOVE radishes - they are my go to vege this time of year as they are so sweet right now. Super looking homemade plaid and that big red bow is gorgeous and goes perfectly with the red in the radishes (not always an easy match)

Jean, you did a great job with making your own plaid piece. I'm impressed! Love the embroidered radishes, but I haven't heard the word rad used a quite a long time...

Oh, you made your own plaid...so pretty. Such fun radishes and go perfectly with the sentiment. One of my sons used to say that as a teen so that brings back a memory. Love that pretty ribbon.

I am not sure, probably depends on the age of the "young"
