Joyously experimented with 2 different wax techniques with Susan, aka One4joy. Please be on the lookout for Susan's creations. We accomplished quite a bit in 3 hours, including a live phone chat with Polly, aka peeps321. This is just one result of the wax paper resist technique. I stamped the Violette label with Wilted Violet DOX and clear embossed. Stamped Sophia on vellum and used the Xyron to coat the back for easy adhesion. Popped on the roses and voila!

If there was ever a fashionable advertisement for the legend, it would be your creation, Lori! LOVE it. The whimsical hearts read as a ruffled wallpaper. That wax resist bg is perfect...the vintage ad makes a great backdrop for Sophia. Cool punched corners and the fussy rose buds. Awesome design.
What fun, we had...I better get cracking on my ef wax resist card....and all ya'll across the company...go visiting...there are more of SCS'ers in your neighborhood...just waiting to be discovered!
PS...she looks mable~lous on the red marbled paper your friend made!

Super vintage. I like the double violet., and the look of the clear embossing on it. I have a Xyron X and often wish I had a bigger one when it comes to vellum, it's certainly wonderful for attaching it. Sounds like you had s great time with Susan.
