I adore everything about Vincent...that is my subject. And I adore Lori's (ArtzidoniStudio) paste paper. I just bought these large stencils of his chair and the quote from Joggles. I used acrylic paint for the chair and the ink for the quote. I stamped a lot of swirly, starry, artwork stamps around the edges and added some Vincent type words and paper and glass stars. I used some paste paper on the edges, some Stickles and part of the Don McLean song 'Vincent' lyrics around the edges. It always makes me cry.
'The more I think about it, the more I realize there is nothing more artistic than to love others.'
PS Forgot to mention that I used DOx sprays for the background, several warm colors plus some blue and purple. Sprinkled on some water.

Now that is just fantabulous. The perspective with the chair and those strips along the edges, and the tiny scale of the flowers and art compared to the paving stones really appeal to me. The tiny touches of Stickles are another star here.

I love Vincent, too and you really did him justice in this collage. It's so interesting...little bits of Vincent here and there...the chair stencil is awesome, the strips of lyrics on the edge are so clever, and I love the stamped sunflowers and starry night in the corner. Brilliant!
