My card began as a gelli plate bg. My theme for this was Spring and/or Easter...I wasn't sure if I was going to add an actual Easter image or not when I started. The girl is my main image and then I added the fence...I figured I could sneak the bunny in behind it. I then sewed around the edge and added the upper die cuts. I had several different embellishments picked out for this and I tried this and that and eventually was pleased with the flowers, the bee charm, and the butterfly. I hope you'll come play along in the MIX challenge this week and create your own collage. Give it a try...it's fun!
FYI-When gluing heavier embellishments I use gel medium....it works well and I guarantee things won't budge!

Just divine, Pol. And favd. When I was young and pretty challenged with art, collage was my 'go to' art. I would cut things out of magazines and newspapers and arrange them, usually with a theme. It made me feel like an artist.

You never do ordinary, Polly! This is exceptional, so much to take in! I scrolled back up several times. I always love your choice of stamps too- so many vintage images that are just wonderful. Beautifully embellished!

Polly, this is a beauty! So many amazing details to admire such as the lace and your stitching! I love the gelli print bg, the insects, the rabbit peeping over the fence, the hollyhocks but my favourite is the dear little girl! Straight into my Favs!
