I made the wax paper resist background a while ago, so I don't know what inks I used. Probably Distress. The colors in the photo are brighter than in real life, the background is basically a mint green with some pinkish color on the side.
This is also for Donna's birthday, which is February 4. I figured out that she likes purple because February is amethyst. I created a Victorian purple throne for her. Inside is a crown with the words 'Queen For a Day.' I'll include this card with the sympathy card I already posted. I lucked out on the ribbon, it was a complete spool at Goodwill for $1.99. Anyone want some, I'd be happy to send.

look what shows up on my reprieve! Wonderful card for the occasion. The color reads beautifully on my screen.
A cool pattern for the Queen's chair. This must have been fun to put together. And bring cheer to the birthday queen!

How pretty is this, Jean! Love the royal chair and the stamped row at the top. I think a card is so special when it's personalized, just like this one for Donna's birthday~

I love that vintage chair...I want one for my house! The purple is perfect for DonnaJeanne and your resist bg also has an antique-y look to it. Lovely...
Oh, Jean, this is such a wonderful birthday tribute card for DonnaJeanne! I love the mix of your chair, lace and background. All made for each other along with Feb 4th. Very special, indeed.

What a terrific birthday card this is for DonnaJeanne. I love this gorgeous vintage chair with this wonderful vintage "wallpaper" you created. The added stamping at the top is gorgeous and adds to the wonderful vintage feel of this card. DonnaJeanne is going to love this beautiful card you made just for her Jean, especially when she reads the inside sentiment. How fun! Hugs! ~Karen.
