This card is for today's sketch and yesterday's colors: gorgeous grape, highland heather and mint macaron. The dessert is winter, which I have in abundance. I'm fighting hard the feeling that I'm sick of winter, which has barely begun. It's been cold and snowy and icy.
I took a piece of the white and swiped the mint macaron ink pad over it. It didn't cover completely, but I was fine with that. Then I stenciled the berries and leaves stencil with the glitter paste. I used the same stencil on the horizontal white pieces, using matte medium and then sprinkling on the mint glitter. I ink blended the three purple colors, the closest I had to the SU colors, then cut out three snowflakes, adding some angel dust glitter and mounting them on a piece of vellum. I didn't want to cover up any background. The sentiment is hard to see, it's embossed with the pearl ep on some of the ink blended paper.

mixed media icy goodness! Great texture, sparkle, and depth. Love the green background...with it’s promise of renewal! Those snowflakes are pretty as is the ombré sentiment. Your vellum diamond element is perfect...great minds think alike.
I am putting this in my favorites.
