Today's tea party is for our dear Teapotter friend, DonnaJeanne. We're sending cards to let her know we're here for her and thinking of her as she adjusts to her life as a widow. We Teapotters always stick together.
Susie is out hostess and she has challenged us to use gingham or checks on our cards. Fortunately, I've been holding onto this purple gingham paper for just the right occasion. This is my first time using this lovely Stamplorations tea and flowers digi. Isn't it perfect for today? I saw a card the other day by Vickie Y that used this stitched postage stamp die and I had to have it, so here I am. Buying more craft supplies. Hi, I'm Jen, and I am addicting to buying craft supplies. At least I use them!
The January Stamplorations Challenge is Stamps & Splatters and this card did need some splatters, but I wanted soft splatter. I dipped a wet paintbrush into Walnut Stain ink and lightly splattered. P.S. Stamplorations has some fabulous free digis and a 30% off sale here.

Gorgeous card, Jen! I was so sorry to hear about DonnaJeannes husband. Sounds much like my husband dying just before Christmas with a four day warning.
I just sent her a tea party card a few weeks ago so now it is time to make a special card for her.....

What a truly gorgeous card this is and one that Donna Jeanne will adore Jen. I am for one am delighted you bought this postage stamp die because I just love seeing how you used it here. Having crafty "vices" is always better than other types of "vices" so you are good (in my opinion). Your expert coloring really brings this beautiful digi image to life and I love how you added the 3D yellow flowers too. The saved gingham piece is the perfect paper to use on this gorgeous card Jen. Hugs! ~Karen.

This is just outstanding, Jen! That image is so lovely and I love your soft coloring of it. The ribbon and sunny yellow blossom are a perfect addition at the edge of your die cut frame. This is going straight into my faves. DonnaJeanne is sure to love it!
