I just finished a weekend of dog sitting for a sweet little year old puppy named Charlie. He is a love. And I received happy mail from Polly on Saturday with some dog images and a few other outstanding things, so I decided to color one of them. Thanks, dear Polly! I found this bag on Pinterest and decided to use it for Saturday's IC: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/281615782934255388/
The paint swiping is a bit goofy because, in looking at the technique's gallery, I saw someone used Distress paint daubers. I thought 'that's a good idea.' But they left stains of the circles. So that's why there are polka dots. I also added some mousse with my fingers. I love this dog, relaxing and reading the paper while the Mrs. gets his supper ready. Talk about mid-century. She probably brought him his slippers too.

I knew you'd come up with something fabulous...that collie is pretty funny..I love the bones on the chair...LOL. Your swiped bg with the dots is awesome...I think the dots should be a variation of that technique! Cute card...made me smile!

I actually love the polka dot paint swishing. I must swish something tomorrow. Fun take on both challenges!

Ah, I am so glad to see you say that about the circles of paint. I have got that any time I tried this - and that's without daubers, just with my fingers. But I think your background looks fantastic - and so does that adorable dog.
