I called this Woodstock!!!! because I watched the PBS documentary about those days in August, 1969. I was going to be a senior in high school, couldn't have imagined going to that and no way would my parents have let me. I was into classical, maybe some folk music, didn't even know who half those bands were. And the mud and lack of food and sanitary conditions....whoa...but I actually kind of wish now I had experienced it. And I do love the Joe Cocker song that is my sentiment. Anyone watch The Wonder Years? One of my fave shows ever and that was the theme song.
This is for today's sketch and yesterday's teaparty for Theresa, who could use some good vibes. I have been making gel prints so I used one (this is a secondary one) and stamped my 'build a flower' stamps. Put some dots of brown to define things a bit. Nice sketch, much scope for imagination. Peace, man!

Great looking card! I was in SF working but on my days off, pretended to be a hippie! Those were the days.....my parents disowned me for a short time but got over it!

Oh, we got that out from the library a couple of years ago - at least, I'm pretty sure it must have been the same documentary. Fascinating to watch. Nice flower and shadow flower. I still haven't tried gel prints with alcohol inks. It's enough work to bring my acrylics downstairs never mind something else as well, but I love the look.
