With the Coloring Challenge Road Trip Class, I am stretching myself! I wanted to try the textured background that Kathy does. I used alcohol, as I don't have the Copic Blending Solution. It was messy & I had to clean this up a bit. Note to self: get some Copic Blending Solution! LOL As I colored, I was mindful to leave "Sweet Spots" as Kathy suggests, & I tried her technique she showed us with the face & those rosy cheeks & lips.
I wonder if the background done in two colors might be too much? AND I didn't have a brown fine point marker to go over the image to make it pop.... Should I go over it in black??? Those are my questions for today.
LOVED doing this! OH YES, I also used lines with my colored pencil on the dress for texture & shading on top of alcohol markers--fixing boo-boo's & blending. HOPE YOU LIKE! Tell me what you think in regards to my questions????

Ohhhhh my goodness Becky, this is pure gorgeousness! I wouldn't change a thing! The two tone background is amazing and your colouring skills are off the charts my friend.
