It's time for a new Color Challenge and Chris is hosting this week! She chose Blueberry Bushel, Seaside Spray and White for colors, with a dessert option of adding a sky to your creation. Well, that became the main focus for my card. I also used this week's sketch challenge for my card design.
I used a blending brush, blue distress ink and a cloud stencil to create the background of the main panel, then stamped the feather and bird image, as well as the sentiment, with a Distress Oxide ink. Both ink colors were remarkably close to the challenge colors.
The remainder of the card is pretty self explanatory but I do have a few more detail on my blog.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join us for the Color Challenge this week!

This feather with the birds is a lovely image and so perfect for the sentiment! Your layout is wonderful and the clouds really sets off the birds. Love it!

Stef, that is one very special feather! I love the contrast between the feather and the birds. And your silver trim and the corrugated panel. This card has such a freedom of movement! Well done.
