I've made a shadowbox frame card for Theresa.
I've used pretty design papers, on the front 3D roses and just a bit of white gel pen, on the inside left a border die cut design paper and a lace butterfly on the right in the shadow box part I've made a vase, the vase is made from an oval die cut, I've cut of the top and glued it to be the vase's base on the bottom, the paper I've used is black linen and I've dropped a bit of melted wax crayon on it, added a bit of lace on the border of the vase, I've made the flowers from 1 kleenex tissue, I've separated the 4 layers and laid them back again cut the "sheet" in 6 parts folded them accordion fold and attached with thin iron thread, opened the layers and soak them in a water color bath.
I've made the leaves from rolled up washi tape and added some real dried gypsophile finally a little tag to send love and 2 punched butterflies. I hope I didn't forget anything.

Those tissue carnations look amazing - I'm actually surprised how they could survive a watercolor bath or do you only wet the tied end?? Beautifully done on this magical 3-D shadow box card!

One of my favourite folds - except for mailing! Beautiful front, and what a wonderful surprise inside too. That flower arrangement is just amazing, and I love the look of the wax on the black vase.
