For Jean's Bleach with an Iron TLC challenge. I'd tried the colorwash one many years ago - 2008. I thought I'd used reinkers, but when I look at the upload now, I didn't even have any, I just used inks in water. Anyway, I decided to give the alcohol ink version a try since it was new to me. Thank goodness I used my good glossy and not photo paper, as it wouldn't have taken the heat.
I stamped the decorative border and the branch for the owl in Versamark and embossed them with clear EP, then added the alcohol inks and ironed. Forgot about going for a second print and only brought scrap paper downstairs with me. After the ironing, I stamped the sentiment and the owl, adding a little colour to his beak and wings with Sharpies. I used some lovely feather paper and a gold frame. It is shiny gold, it's just a very gloomy day here today. DH doesn't like this, I knew he wouldn't, but I do so that's fine. And I like the way it actually looks quite good rotated through 90 degrees, too.

I really like the look of the feathers on the framing...really cool and they make a perfect accompaniment to your owl. Fab card and great job on the technique but it's too bad you forgot to do the 2nd print....they turn out well.

I love this. The frame feels like being close up on an owl to me and then we have the little peeper doing his owl thing with a twisted head. (one of the things about owls I totally dig.)
