Happy Greetings all, I am finally uploading my TeaPotter card...it's our end of the month where we get to swap cards. Our hostess, Sabrina, asked for Easel Cards and gave us lots of links to tutorial actual easel cards. I chose the literal path. The Donna Downey 'Signature' Stencil offers two easels.
And bringing us our first Inspiration Challenge of 2020, Julie took us to the Mural Design site. It was these two prompts that helped to bring my vision to life. wooden easel and hand mirror. This is great site Julie! So much to choose from and if only I had storage to rotate my 'works of art'!
This card begin by selecting an already made bg. It was definitely an experiment with the new to me Alcohol Pearl Inks. I had just splotched on drops and let dry. Not very interesting. But I decided to use a stencil (Stencil Girl 'Traci Bautista') and spray. That helped adding the pattern of the big bold blossoms. I stamped the Visible Image sentiment on top of wild bg. Trimmed to size for the easel. Decided I need another element and seized upon the idea of a hand mirror. Isn't this Museum of Modern Rubber mirror fabulous? I just had to make it green...add mirror paper and a jaunty bit of seam binding. The panel is mounted on PTI 'Hawaiian Shores' cs.
That's it. I just love the energy that bold poster on the easel has! I hope whoever receives this will know I smiled real big before I sent this on it's way.
Thanks for stopping by for a look...have a wonderful day...

Maybe I'm reading too much into your card, but I interpreted it as "do for others, rather than concentrate on yourself(mirror)" Regardless, it is a brilliant card, Susan. Done with your usual creativity and panache.
This is so cool! I love how you combined challenges. Your easel is fabulous and the canvas is very special. I love the ribbon around the mirror handle!

I love the stenciled easel and your "painting" with the wonderful is great! The green (my fav color) mirror is the icing on the cake of this card...brilliant idea to add that (and you're right, that is an amazing stamp!)...As always your vision is inspiring...
